Funny thing! Father’s day doesn’t always have a great response like that of Mother’s day.
The fact of the matter is that Mothers have our hearts, they have taken care of us every step of the way.
If you think your household runs smoothly because of us, think again.
But Father’s, Dads, brothers, we have our role to play.
Just imagine this, when you dance with your wife your role is to lead, and her role is to smile, follow, enjoy, float on the dance floor and gracefully make it all look so effortless that each step has been rehearsed and you both look like you’re having so much fun.
Your life at home can be pretty much the same. You may lead; you may be the bread winner. But you better make it very clear to yourself that you are a supporting character, a partner. Your wife supports your ambitions, objectives your life goals you need to get that straight.
This weekend at LCA Church we were served a nice little lunch after service. But did you notice something. If you asked who was preparing lunch, you got the answer that Mihai was. That is true he was, but did you realize that Cami was up front and supporting this initiative and so were other people, their daughter, also Olivia and probably other people. (Thanks go out to the Mihai and Cami team)
Michai would probably have had a lot of difficulty in serving this lunch all alone.
This is why as Men, Father’s. It is up to us to make sure that our life Partner are acknowledged, thanked, loved, and cared for. She (your wife) is there for you every step of the way whether you see it or not.
